LaBaron Point Boat Ramp on Utah Lake provides access for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats. However, the ramp is currently closed to motorized launching due to low water levels. We do not recommend using this ramp for motorized vessels at this time.
For non-motorized watercraft, the ramp may still be usable, but caution is advised due to the low water conditions. Paddlers should be aware that Utah Lake is a large, shallow body of water that can experience strong winds. The lake is home to various fish species like channel catfish, walleye, and white bass, making it a popular destination for anglers.
Those seeking additional boating access should check out the launch ramps and facilities at nearby Utah Lake State Park. As conditions can change, visitors are encouraged to contact the local authorities before planning a trip to this site.
