About This Access Site
Lacy Point is a convenient public boat ramp located on the western shore of Speegleville Creek near Waco Lake, offering easy access for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. The facility features a two-lane boat ramp, courtesy dock, adequate vehicle parking, and restrooms. To reach the site from I-35, take exit 330B heading north on Highway 6 for approximately 6 miles, then follow local roads to the park entrance on the right.

Beyond paddling, Lacy Point serves as a trailhead for the popular 20-mile Lacy Point Hiking and Biking Trail, accessible just a short drive around the cove from the boat ramp. The area is also close to Waco Lake, the largest lake entirely within a single city's municipal boundaries, making it an ideal base for exploring the broader region's water recreation opportunities. Nearby attractions include the Waco Mammoth National Monument for those interested in natural history.
