Lacy Point is a convenient public boat ramp located on the western shore of Speegleville Creek near Waco Lake, offering easy access for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. The facility features a two-lane boat ramp, courtesy dock, adequate vehicle parking, and restrooms. To reach the site from I-35, take exit 330B heading north on Highway 6 for approximately 6 miles, then follow local roads to the park entrance on the right.
Beyond paddling, Lacy Point serves as a trailhead for the popular 20-mile Lacy Point Hiking and Biking Trail, accessible just a short drive around the cove from the boat ramp. The area is also close to Waco Lake, the largest lake entirely within a single city's municipal boundaries, making it an ideal base for exploring the broader region's water recreation opportunities.
