About This Access Site
**Location & Access:**
The Lair ramp is located south of Cynthiana on the South Fork Licking River, accessible via US-27. From Cynthiana, head south 4.5 miles on US-27, turn left on Rice Road, then left on New Lair Road. The single-lane concrete ramp is situated under the bridge crossing and adjacent to Old Lair Road. A small graveled parking lot is available at the top of the ramp.

**Facilities & Suitability:**
This modest access point is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and small trailered boats. The concrete ramp allows easy launching of small watercraft, making it a convenient put-in for paddling the South Fork Licking River. Limited parking and basic amenities mean this is best suited for smaller recreational trips rather than large group outings. For those seeking expanded access in the area, the recently opened Terry Dam Boat Ramp is another public option in Harrison County.
