Located at the upper end of Lake Arrowhead near the Little Wichita River bridge (just south of US 281 in Clay County), this boat ramp offers convenient access to the 16,200-acre Lake Arrowhead impoundment. The ramp is positioned away from swimming areas and fishing piers, with ample parking available for trailers and vehicles. From FM 1954, follow West Arrowhead Road and look for the Boat Ramp Road sign, then continue to the ramp at road's end.
Lake Arrowhead State Park operates nine boat ramps throughout the facility, making this one of several launch options. The park provides full amenities including a lighted fishing pier, fish cleaning station, and camping facilities. This access point is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and larger motorboats looking to explore the upper lake. The park has friendly staff at the entrance and maintains good facilities for day-use and overnight visitors.
