Lake Cuyamaca

Lake Cuyamaca offers a convenient boat ramp for kayakers, canoeists, and small boat owners looking to access this picturesque mountain lake. The paved launch ramp provides easy entry to the water, and a nearby dock area allows for loading and unloading gear.

The lake itself is located in the Cleveland National Forest, providing a scenic backdrop for a day on the water. While the lake is relatively small, it offers ample room for paddling, fishing, and relaxing. Kayaks and canoes are allowed, though they may only be used during certain hours on weekends and holidays. Private boats must be at least 10 feet in length.

Amenities at the launch site include a small tackle and supply store, as well as a mini-mart for snacks and drinks. Anglers will find a variety of fish species in the lake, and several fishing docks and jetties are located around the shoreline.
