Lake Emma

**Location & Access:** Emma Lake is a 77-acre lake located five miles north of Dorset in Hubbard County, with public access on the south shore. This county-owned site features a hard sand shoreline ideal for launching kayaks, canoes, and small boats, though there is no developed boat ramp. The natural shoreline makes it an excellent option for hand-launching paddlers and those with smaller watercraft.

**Lake Characteristics:** With a maximum depth of 50 feet, Emma Lake offers adequate water depth for recreational boating and paddling. The moderate lake size (77 acres) makes it manageable for paddlers of various skill levels, and the access point provides a convenient launching point for exploring the lake. There are no launch fees at this county access site.
