Located approximately 1 mile south of Fort Supply in northwest Oklahoma's Woodward County, the Fort Supply Lake access site offers multiple boat ramps to serve kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. The facility is part of the Fort Supply Recreation Area on Wolf Creek, a man-made lake that provides a reliable paddling destination in the region. The Fort Supply Swim Beach is a reservable facility through Recreation.gov, and visitors should plan accordingly if launching during peak seasons.
The recreation area is well-developed with numerous amenities to support a full day on the water. In addition to boat ramps, the facility includes sandy beaches, fishing piers, camping (both RV and tent sites), picnic areas, restrooms, showers, and playgrounds. Many campsites are located directly on the water's edge for convenient access. The lake is popular for swimming, fishing, and boating, making it a busy recreational hub during peak times.
The surrounding area offers additional attractions, including the historic Fort Supply site and museum located nearby on the Western State Hospital grounds. With 6,000 acres of land around the lake, the area also supports hunting opportunities for bobwhite quail, deer, pheasants, and rabbits, drawing diverse recreational users to the region.
