About This Access Site
Lake Havasu - 1 is a public boat access point in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, offering convenient launch facilities for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters on the Colorado River's Lake Havasu impoundment. The site provides accessible parking and boat ramp access to this popular reservoir. Non-motorized watercraft are welcome at all boat ramps in the area. For additional amenities, Havasu Riviera Marina operates as a concession of Lake Havasu State Park and offers boat ramps, dry docks, and storage services.

Lake Havasu is a major 45-mile-long reservoir on the Colorado River with relatively calm, impounded water conditions—quite different from the flowing river sections upstream. The Colorado River system here drains over 27,000 square miles and maintains an average flow of approximately 2,220 cubic feet per second, though dam operations significantly influence water levels and conditions. Water level fluctuations can occasionally affect ramp accessibility, so it's worth checking conditions before your trip.

The area offers excellent recreation opportunities with 73 boat-in campsites along the Arizona shoreline, fishing, and proximity to Lake Havasu State Park attractions. For more information or boat rentals, contact Wet Monkey Power Sports Boat Rentals at (928) 855-2022 or visit wetmonkeyrentals.com.
