Lake Herman State Park offers convenient water access via a dedicated boat ramp into this 1,350-acre lake located near Madison in Lake County, South Dakota. The ramp provides easy launching for motorboats, kayaks, and canoes. If you're paddling, you may also be able to carry kayaks or canoes directly from the nearby campground to the water.
