About This Access Site
Lake Icaria's central access point offers convenient launch facilities for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters on this 648-acre reservoir in Adams County near Corning, Iowa. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 30 feet and supports a variety of recreational activities. This location provides boat ramp access with nearby parking and is part of a larger park facility with multiple amenities.

**Important Regulations:** Jet skis and jet boats are prohibited on Lake Icaria. Only outboard motors and inboard-outboards are permitted; traditional inboards are not allowed. Paddlers should be aware of motorboat traffic on this larger waterbody.

The central ramp is one of two boat launch points on Lake Icaria (with another on the south side). The surrounding park offers additional facilities including camping, cabins, water access, and fish cleaning stations. This access point is easily reached from the main road and is suitable for both paddlers launching recreational kayaks and canoes, as well as small to medium-sized motorboats.
