This boat ramp provides access to Lake Icaria, a 648-acre recreational lake in Adams County near Corning. The ramp is located on the south side of the lake and is one of two ramps available to boaters. The lake has a maximum depth of 30 feet and offers plenty of water for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating.
**Important Regulations:** Lake Icaria restricts motorized vessels to outboard and inboard-outboard motors only—no jet boats, jet skis, or inboard motors are permitted. The surrounding Lake Icaria Park is a large, well-developed facility with over 1,945 acres, offering ample parking, multiple campsites (many with electricity), cabin rentals, and amenities like showers and a fish cleaning station. This makes it an excellent base for a multi-day paddling or fishing trip.
The park is managed by the Adams County Conservation Board and provides good infrastructure for water access, making it a convenient launching point for exploring this popular regional water body.
