Lake Lillinonah (Pond Brook)

The Lake Lillinonah (Pond Brook) boat ramp provides access to the expansive waters of Lake Lillinonah in western Connecticut. This concrete, two-lane ramp is located midway along the lake's southwestern shoreline, off Hanover Road in Newtown. The gravel parking area can accommodate multiple vehicles and trailers.

Lake Lillinonah is a large reservoir on the Housatonic River, formed by the Shepaug Dam. The lake offers 20 miles of shoreline and reaches up to a mile wide in some areas, providing ample space for kayakers, canoeists and motorized boaters to explore. The calm, protected waters of the lake make it a popular destination for recreational boating and fishing. Nearby amenities include the Hop Brook Lake recreation area and the Henderson Americana Center on Hunt Hill Farm.
