Lake Logan State Park's marina facility on the north shore of Clear Fork offers excellent access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring the lake's 400 acres of water. The marina includes two boat launch ramps with full facilities support, making it convenient for launching and retrieving boats. Be aware that Lake Logan operates under a 10 horsepower maximum for motorboats, keeping the lake relatively quiet for paddle craft. The marina also provides amenities including rental boats, supplies, snacks, and drinks for visitors.
Paddlers should note that late summer and hot weather can increase aquatic vegetation growth in certain areas of the lake, potentially making some routes more challenging to navigate. The lake supports fishing for northern pike, bass, bluegill, crappie, muskie, catfish, and saugeye. Beyond boating, the park features a 527-foot public swimming beach on the north shore, picnic areas, and marked hiking trails, making it a well-rounded recreation destination in the Hocking Valley near Wayne National Forest.
