Lake Louise Recreation Area offers a well-developed access point for motorized boats, kayakers, and canoeists on 164-acre Lake Louise, a calm impoundment created in 1932 on Wolf Creek's south fork. The boat ramp is conveniently located near the main campground, making it easy to launch motorized vessels. The lake averages 9 feet deep with a maximum depth of 25 feet, providing plenty of open water for recreational paddling and boating.
Kayakers and canoeists will find excellent access options, with numerous beach areas available for easy launching and landing. The recreation area also offers kayak and canoe rentals on-site, making it accessible for visitors without their own equipment. Beyond water recreation, the park features a swimming beach, fishing access with a fish cleaning station, hiking trails, and camping facilities with both electrical and primitive sites.
