The ramp is a paved state facility with ample parking (40 spaces), accommodating both motorized and non-motorized watercraft including kayaks and canoes.

The access site provides entry to a scenic 2.85-mile paddle upstream to Scotland Street, where the water flows through winding wetlands and forests before continuing toward West Bridgewater. The broad, slow-moving character of the water makes it suitable for paddlers of various skill levels.
