**Location & Access:** Lake of the Falls County Park offers year-round boat ramp access to the Turtle-Flambeau Flowage via the Turtle River. The ramp is located at 4720 W County Park Road in Mercer, Iron County, and is part of a full-service county park facility with electrical campsites, water, pavilion, and pit toilets available.
**What to Expect:** This access point serves primarily as a gateway to the larger Turtle-Flambeau Flowage rather than for river paddling. The Turtle River itself is a small waterway, best suited for accessing the flowage's calmer waters. For paddlers seeking the most amenities and easiest launch experience, Springstead Landing on the south side of the flowage offers a larger triple-wide concrete ramp and boarding docks. The park is popular for camping and day-use recreation, so reservations are strongly encouraged, especially during peak season. Reservations open January 1st annually.
