Lake Perry Yacht and Marina

Lake Perry Yacht & Marina provides convenient public boat access to Perry Lake via a dedicated boat ramp on the Delaware River. Located approximately 20 minutes east of Topeka and 45 minutes west of Kansas City, this facility is part of the larger Perry Lake recreation area, which encompasses over 11,000 surface acres and 160 miles of shoreline. The Delaware River that feeds the lake is a major waterway (Stream Order 8) with an average flow of over 30,000 cubic feet per second and a moderate gradient of 2.7 feet per mile, making it suitable for various boating activities. The lake itself provides calmer water than the main river channel, with designated beaches, fish cleaning stations, and picnic areas spread across eight parks around the shoreline.
