Lake Pleasant Regional Park - Scorpian Bay

Scorpion Bay at Lake Pleasant offers excellent access for kayakers, canoeists, and boaters via the Lake Pleasant Regional Park system near Peoria. The park features multiple boat launch options including a 10-lane main ramp and a 4-lane north entrance ramp, providing ample parking for trailers and vehicles. This is a day-use facility with free access, though note that the main park entrance closes at 8 p.m. for non-camping visitors.

Lake Pleasant is a large, newly expanded reservoir with 114 miles of shoreline and calm, flatwater conditions ideal for kayaking and canoeing. A seasonal boat launch at the Agua Fria Conservation Area provides additional options for smaller boats, though access may be limited depending on water levels and time of year.
