**Location & Access:** The winter boat launch for Lake Stephen is located just past the dam on Dam Drive, near Surveyor in Raleigh County, West Virginia. A personal kayak and paddleboard launch is also available next to the dam, providing convenient access for paddlers. The site is situated nine miles west of Beckley and approximately 25 minutes from New River Gorge National Park.

The lake itself offers year-round recreational opportunities during the main park season (May 1st–September 30th), with expanded water access during the winter months through this dedicated launch.
