Lake Tewaukon

Located in Cayuga, Sargent County, North Dakota, the Lake Tewaukon boat ramp provides convenient access to this 1,058-acre lake. The ramp features concrete launching surfaces along with nearby amenities including picnic shelters, grills, restrooms, and a fishing dock. The lake has a maximum depth of 12 feet, making it suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational boating throughout the season.

This access site is an excellent base for exploring the scenic Tewaukon area, particularly during spring and fall migration seasons when the surrounding Tewaukon National Wildlife Refuge hosts thousands of waterfowl, shorebirds, and wading birds. The Wetland Management District manages additional natural areas in the region.
