Located on the north end of the FM 2946 bridge along the Lake Fork Creek arm of Lake Timpson, this boat ramp provides convenient access to Blackwater Creek and the broader lake system in Shelby County. The site features a ramp and adjacent marina facilities. To reach the access point from Huntsville, take US 190 toward Livingston, turn right on FM 156 at Point Blank, and continue straight to the boat ramp. Alternatively, access via US 59 northeast of Garrison by turning south onto FM 2667 at the lake sign.
Lake Timpson maintains a conservation pool elevation of 292 feet mean sea level with clear water conditions and normal annual fluctuations of 1–3 feet.
