Lake Townsen Regional Park Primitive Boat Ramp

Located in Hernando County on the Withlacoochee River, Lake Townsen Regional Park offers a concrete boat ramp (15 ft × 60 ft) with a timber boardwalk approach for easy access to the water. The facility is situated within a 37-acre developed park that provides ample amenities including picnic areas, a fishing pier, playground, and parking. This is a solid option for launching kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats onto the Withlacoochee River.

Beyond the ramp, the park offers additional recreational opportunities including access to the Withlacoochee State Trail for walking, biking, and hiking across the surrounding 338 acres of open space. However, note that this is a primitive facility, so amenities may be limited compared to larger regional parks.
