Lake Wilhelm Marina, located in Maurice K. Goddard State Park near New Vernon in Mercer County, offers a well-developed launch facility ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. The site features a four-lane boat ramp, two courtesy docks, and ample parking with 250 standard spaces and 121 dedicated car/trailer parking spots. A fueling station and marina building are also on-site. The marina operates seasonally with mooring available from May 1 through October 31.
Paddlers will find access to both Lake Wilhelm and Sandy Creek from this location. The lake provides calmer, open-water conditions suitable for recreational paddling and fishing, while Sandy Creek offers a more river-like paddling experience. With 200 wet slips and 48 dry-land mooring spaces available, the marina caters to both day-use visitors and those planning extended stays. The southern marina entrance is approximately 1.7 miles from PA Route 358W via Creek Road, making it reasonably accessible for launching your watercraft.
