Langford Lake Boat Launch, located on the Bessemer Ranger District southeast of Marenisco, provides access to Langford Lake in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The launch features a dedicated boat ramp with adjacent parking area, making it convenient for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. While the associated campground has permanently closed, the boat ramp itself remains open and available for day-use access. The site is first-come, first-served with nominal fees reported in the $3-$8/night range for camping, and vault toilets are available.
**Directions from Marenisco:** Travel east on US 2 for approximately 10 miles, turn right onto FR 7100 and continue 6.5 miles to CR 527. Turn left onto CR 527 for about 1 mile, then continue east on CR 531 for approximately 1 mile to reach FR 6. If you're planning to stay overnight, nearby reservable campgrounds include Pomeroy Lake, Moosehead Lake, and Sylvania Wilderness backcountry camping within 10 miles of the launch.
