**Location & Access:**
Leatherwood Boat Ramp provides access to Cave Run Lake and Leatherwood Creek in Daniel Boone National Forest near Scranton in Menifee County. From I-64 (exit 133), head south on KY 801, then east on US 60 toward Salt Lick. Turn left onto KY 211 and continue several miles to Clear Creek Road/Leatherwood Road (Forest Service Road 129) on the left. The ramp is located along this forest service road on the western side of the lake.

Cave Run Lake is a large 8,270-acre impoundment surrounded by Daniel Boone National Forest, offering ample space for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. The lake provides scenic paddling through a forested landscape typical of the northern Cumberland Plateau. Leatherwood is one of several public boat ramps around the lake, making it a convenient launch point for exploring this major recreation area.
