About This Access Site
Lemolo Lake Resort provides vehicle access to Lemolo Lake, a reservoir on the North Umpqua River system in Oregon's Umpqua National Forest. Located 12 miles north of Diamond Lake (approximately 73 miles east of Roseburg via OR-138), this site offers a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring this scenic alpine lake. Note that water levels fluctuate seasonally—recent reports indicate the ramp may become unusable during low water periods, so call ahead to confirm conditions before visiting.

The lake operates under no-wake speed restrictions in several zones near the launch area and inlets to protect the environment and enhance safety for paddlers. A day-use fee of $5 per vehicle applies. Several campgrounds are within 10 miles, including East Lemolo Campground and Inlet Campground, both offering reservable sites. East Lemolo also provides an alternative boat launch if conditions at Lemolo Lake Resort are poor.
