Lightning Lake

Lightning Lake is a 541-acre public access lake located in Wendell, Grant County, Minnesota. The boat ramp provides convenient launching for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. With a maximum depth of 11 feet, the lake is suitable for small to medium-sized watercraft, and the ramp can typically accommodate 12-18 foot boats. There are no launch fees at this access point.

The lake is situated in a scenic area with abundant nearby recreation opportunities, including the Fergus Falls Wetland Management District's 50,000 acres of wildlife habitat spread across five counties.
