About This Access Site
Link Creek Campground offers a convenient boat launch on the southwest shore of Suttle Lake, located just outside Sisters, Oregon. The campground sits in a scenic, forested setting and provides direct water access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. Basic amenities include vault toilets and potable water (seasonal, typically May through September), making it suitable for day-use launch trips or longer paddling adventures.

Suttle Lake is popular for recreational boating, fishing, and water sports. Paddlers will find a relatively flat, wooded shoreline with opportunities to fish or explore the lake. A scenic lake trail follows the shore for those interested in combining water access with hiking. The location works well as a base camp given the nearby chain of additional Forest Service campgrounds in the area if you need accommodations.

**Access Details:** From Sisters, OR, travel 12.4 miles northwest on Highway 20, then 4.5 miles north on Forest Road 12, followed by 0.6 miles north on Forest Road 1230.
