Little Camas Reservoir

**Location & Access:** Little Camas Boat Ramp is located in Dixie, Elmore County, about two miles down a dirt road. **Use a full-sized vehicle for access**—earlier public entrances have narrow, rough roads with no turnaround space. The site includes a concrete boat ramp, vault toilet, and parking for approximately 40 vehicles.

**Water Conditions & Considerations:** Reservoir water levels fluctuate significantly throughout the year, affecting boating feasibility. Before visiting, confirm adequate water levels, as the reservoir has historically been too low for motorboat access during certain periods. The site is best suited for kayakers and canoeists exploring Little Camas Reservoir. Mountain views and primitive fire pits are available, though facilities are basic.

**Nearby Alternatives:** If water levels are low at Little Camas, consider nearby Anderson Ranch Reservoir (7.4 square miles) or access points at Spillway Campground and Pine Campground Boat Ramp within 10 miles. The area is in the Boise National Forest with additional camping and trail options nearby.

Update:  June of 2015.  The reservoir is so low that the boat ramp is on dry land.  There is not enough water in the reservoir for a motor boat.The Little Camas Boat Ramp is a concrete boat ramp provicint access to Little Camas Reservoir. There is a restroom on site with enough parking for approximately 40 vehicles.
