About This Access Site
Lost Lake is a 539-acre lake in Marathon County offering public boat access via a concrete ramp located off Whiley Road/Lost Lake Drive at the northeastern end of the lake. The ramp is maintained by the Public Access Board and accommodates small trailer boats, car-top boats, and canoes. Parking is available for approximately ten vehicles at the access point.

The lake has a maximum depth of 20 feet and features a mix of open water and marshy shoreline areas. Paddlers and anglers frequent the lake year-round to pursue Musky, Northern Pike, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, and Panfish. The relatively shallow maximum depth and marshy areas make this a good destination for kayakers and canoeists seeking calmer paddling conditions. Additional boat ramps are located on the north and south sides of the lake if you need alternative access points.
