Low Water Bridge

The Low Water Bridge access site near Millport, Jackson County, offers a convenient boat ramp and parking for paddlers and boaters on the Muscatatuck River. Located where State Road 135 crosses the river, this is one of only two public access points along the Muscatatuck and serves as a particularly good take-out spot for canoeists and kayakers completing river trips.

The Muscatatuck River is a scenic waterway with a rich history, though paddlers should be aware that the river's navigability varies seasonally due to accumulated sediment along the riverbed. Water conditions can be shallow during low water periods, so timing your trip accordingly is recommended. This access point is most useful as an exit rather than a starting point, making it ideal for planning multi-mile float trips down the river.
