Lower Peninsula Park

Lower Peninsula Park offers a primitive boat launch providing access to Lower Crab Creek and Potholes Reservoir near Moses Lake. The facility is open year-round and includes a boat dock, fishing dock, shoreline access, picnic areas, restrooms, and additional amenities like a playground and disc golf course, making it a good option for families combining paddling with other recreation. **Important note for paddlers:** Water levels at Potholes Reservoir fluctuate significantly due to irrigation demands from the Columbia Basin Project, with notably low water levels occurring during summer and fall months. The site's location within the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge area offers opportunities for peaceful paddling and wildlife viewing, particularly in spring and fall.
