About This Access Site
Lyman Lake is a 370-acre lake in Douglas County near South Range, offering public boat access via a concrete ramp and dock facility. The boat landing is conveniently located outside the entrance gate off County Trunk Highway P, approximately one-quarter mile west of Lake Minnesuing, with a dedicated parking area. Vaulted restrooms are available on-site.

With a maximum depth of 15 feet, Lyman Lake is suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. The lake supports a healthy fishery including musky, panfish, largemouth bass, and walleye, making it popular with anglers as well as paddlers. The wooded setting provides scenic paddling opportunities for recreational boaters of all skill levels.
