About This Access Site
The Lyons Street access in Marquette provides a public boat launch onto the Fox River and Lake Puckaway. This ramp offers street parking and land vehicle access, making it a convenient put-in for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring this scenic waterway. The site is located near the Fox River National Wildlife Refuge, which encompasses over 1,000 acres of wetland and upland habitat—offering excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and paddle exploration.

**Important Note:** A seasonal permit is required to use this ramp (April through October). Resident permits are $20, non-residents $40, and seniors $5 for the season. Permits can be purchased at the Marquette Police Department. The site has minimal amenities, so plan accordingly. For paddlers interested in exploring the Fox River corridor, this access point provides a good starting location for day trips or longer paddles through the refuge area.
