Mack Landing

**Location & Access:** Mack Landing is located in Sopchoppy, Wakulla County, near Tallahassee. From SR 20 west of Tallahassee, turn left on CR 375 and follow signs for Mack Landing, driving approximately 1.5 miles to the facility. The site features a concrete boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats onto the Ochlockonee River.

**Important Considerations:** This is a primitive facility with no amenities or hookups. **Be aware that the access road frequently becomes underwater during high water periods, potentially making the boat ramp inaccessible.** Check current conditions before planning your trip. The landing also serves as a primitive campground with shaded campsites available year-round for those wishing to extend their visit. During hunting season, be aware that the area is an active hunting environment.

**Best For:** Kayakers and canoeists seeking a quiet, undeveloped river access point with optional overnight camping. The Ochlockonee River in this area offers a more remote paddling experience, though water levels and accessibility can vary seasonally.
