Malheur Reservoir

The Malheur Reservoir boat ramp is located on the north shore of the reservoir in remote eastern Oregon, accessible via dirt road from U.S. Route 26 (approximately 15 miles from either Ironside to the southwest or Brogan to the southeast). This is a remote, undeveloped access area suitable for kayakers and canoeists looking for quieter paddling away from heavily trafficked areas. Limited camping is available near the ramp. Be prepared for the remote location by bringing supplies, as services are distant—the nearest towns are 15+ miles away.
