The marina boat ramp at Alcova Reservoir provides convenient access to this 2,470-acre reservoir located approximately 30 miles north of Casper. This is one of eight boat ramps around the reservoir and offers a full-service facility with an onsite marina that rents kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, and motorized boats. The ramp is ideal for paddlers of all skill levels looking to explore the scenic waters of the North Platte River impoundment in Wyoming's high plains.
Alcova Reservoir is well-developed for water recreation, with excellent amenities including six campgrounds (three reservable, three first-come, first-served), a full hook-up campground, dump stations, and water fill stations.
