Marina Road offers a convenient mid-lake access point on the southeast side of Foster Joseph Sayers Lake, a 1,730-acre impoundment on Bald Eagle Creek near Howard, PA. The facility features a two-lane concrete ramp with gravel parking for approximately two dozen vehicles with trailers. A marina is available on-site, and boat rentals are offered for those without their own watercraft.
**Important access note:** Lake water level fluctuations significantly impact ramp availability. Boat launches and marina access are **only available when water elevation is between 628 and 632 feet**. Before planning your trip, check the current lake level with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to confirm the ramp is operational. Bald Eagle State Park surrounds the lake and offers additional amenities including a campground, picnic areas, beach access, and a historical village under restoration, making it an excellent base for a full day of paddling or boating.
