Marsh Branch Ramp

**Location & Access:** Marsh Branch Boat Ramp is located on the northwest side of Laurel River Lake in the Daniel Boone National Forest near London, Kentucky. From I-75 (Exit 38), take KY 192 west for 10.5 miles, then turn left on Marsh Branch Road (FS 774) and travel 2 miles to the ramp. A parking pass is required and can be obtained at the London Ranger District Office (761 S. Laurel Road, London, KY) for $5 for a 3-day pass.

**Best For:** This ramp provides excellent access for kayakers and canoeists, particularly those heading to White Oak Boat-in Campground, the closest camping option by water. The ramp also serves as a trailhead for the Cold Rock School Trail, which connects to White Oak Campground by foot. Fishing is not permitted from the boat ramp itself, but anglers can fish once launched on the lake.

**What to Know:** Laurel River Lake sits within the scenic Daniel Boone National Forest and is part of the broader Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail system. This is a developed, well-maintained access point suitable for launching small boats, canoes, and kayaks. Be sure to arrive with your parking pass in hand to avoid any issues.
