Martin's Landing

Martins is a small public boat ramp providing access to the scenic Edisto River in Charleston County. The site features a decent boat ramp suitable for kayaks, canoes, and smaller watercraft, though parking is limited. This historic location once served as a ferry crossing in the 1800s and early 1900s and has long been a community gathering spot for outdoor recreation.

The Edisto River in this area is part of the ACE Basin (Ashepoo, Combahee, and Edisto rivers), one of the largest undeveloped estuaries on the East Coast. Coke Weeks Landing is located directly across the river and offers more substantial amenities.
