This is a trailer-accessible launch point (RM 32.1-34.7) suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats, with limited parking and facilities available nearby.
The Rum River in this section features a slow gradient of approximately 1 foot per mile, making it ideal for recreational paddling and leisurely float trips. A popular paddle route runs approximately 10-11 miles downstream from Martins Landing to Rum River North County Park near St. Francis. **Important note:** The river contains zebra mussels, so clean and inspect your watercraft accordingly. Access to downstream take-out locations like Rum River Central Regional Park may require an Anoka or Washington County Parks permit, so plan accordingly.
