Maryhill State Park

Maryhill State Park offers a reliable boat launch on Lake Celilo, the reservoir created by The Dalles Lock and Dam on the Columbia River in Klickitat County, Washington. The facility features two watercraft launches and 216 feet of dock space for boat handling. To access the ramp, follow Highway 2 to the public fishing sign near Coulee City, then turn right and continue 1.2 miles to the campground and launch area.

This location is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters exploring the calm waters of Lake Celilo. The reservoir environment provides protected paddling conditions compared to the open river, making it accessible for various skill levels. The park also serves as a good base for fishing enthusiasts targeting salmon, steelhead trout, and sturgeon. Note that this is a day-use and camping facility managed by Washington State Parks in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, though no reservations are required for boat launch access.
