Located in Coral Gables on the shores of Biscayne Bay, Matheson Hammock County Park offers a well-developed boat launch facility ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters. The park features dedicated boat launch ramps with trailer service ($13 weekdays, $17 weekends/holidays) and an on-site marina that accommodates vessels up to 50 feet. The site is conveniently equipped with fuel (gas and diesel), a fishing tackle shop, and food services including a snack bar and restaurant.
Beyond the launch facilities, the park provides excellent amenities for a full day on the water. Visitors can enjoy a tropical hammock setting, sandy beach, and a natural atoll pool in a scenic park environment. Annual ramp passes are available with tiered pricing for regular users, seniors (62+), and disabled veterans (free).
