Matlacha Park offers a well-developed public boat launch facility providing convenient access to Matlacha Pass and the surrounding waterway system. The site features a double boat ramp, 33 trailer parking spots (accommodating various boat sizes), and is fully ADA accessible. This makes it an excellent starting point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats exploring the area.
The facility includes amenities designed for a full day of recreation: restrooms, sheltered picnic tables, two pavilions, a fishing pier, playground, basketball courts, and a walking path. From this location, paddlers have direct access to the Calusa Blueway, a popular paddling trail, and can reach Matlacha Pass and beyond. The park's 4.5-acre grounds provide comfortable staging and launching for various water activities.
