About This Access Site
The McIntyre Road Boat Ramp provides concrete launch access to the Ochlockonee River in Franklin County, located in Florida's Atlantic Coastal Plain. This ramp serves as a gateway for paddlers and boaters exploring the Ochlockonee River system, including the interconnected Dead River and Sopchoppy River, as well as numerous tidal creeks in the area.

To reach the ramp, take CR 375 south from SR 20 for approximately 17 miles, then head west toward the Ochlockonee bridge on FH 13/CR 368. Continue about 2.5 miles and turn east on FR 186. The site offers tree-lined camping areas for those planning overnight trips. This access point is ideal for kayakers and canoeists looking to explore the scenic river corridors and coastal plain waterways, with opportunities to observe diverse wildlife and natural habitats including pine flatwoods and sandhill communities.
