From this access point, paddlers can explore upstream to lower Mystic Lake or paddle downstream toward Medford Center. The river features gentle current, making it manageable for upstream paddling if desired. The Straight River in this area offers a pleasant recreational paddle suitable for kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats. As a public water access, the site is available 24 hours unless otherwise posted.
