Meeks Cabin Reservoir offers a convenient boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats in the scenic Uinta County area of southwestern Wyoming. The 470-acre reservoir is part of the Blacks Fork drainage and straddles the Utah-Wyoming border. The boat ramp is located near the dam and provides direct water access for paddlers and anglers. Note that this reservoir is not recommended for swimming.
The surrounding area features pine and aspen forests with nearby camping options, including Meeks Cabin Campground and Little Lyman Lake Campground (both reservable). The region also provides access to Ashley National Forest recreation. Cell service is limited or unavailable in the area, so plan accordingly. A marina nearby offers boat rentals and additional facilities. This is a non-reservable access site, making it available for day-use paddling and boating.
