Meramec Landing (Valley Park)

Meramec Landing offers convenient access to the Meramec River via a concrete boat ramp and canoe launch located at the end of Meramec Levee Park in Valley Park. The site is easily found off Highway 141 (north of I-44)—turn east onto Marshall Road, then south on Cal Hedrick Way to reach the ramp. The facility includes 14 standard vehicle/trailer parking spaces plus 2 handicap-accessible van spaces, making it suitable for both motorboats and paddled craft.

The landing provides a good jumping-off point for kayakers and canoeists exploring this section of the Meramec River. Adjacent to the access area is a 2-mile River Trail that extends east toward Simpson County Park and west to Arnold's Grove Trailhead, offering additional recreation opportunities. Note that canoe rentals are not available at the park, so bring your own boat or rent elsewhere before arriving. The site operates from sunrise to sunset.
