About This Access Site
Middle Lake South is a public boat ramp providing access to Middle Lake, a 243-acre lake in Nicollet County, Minnesota. This access point is suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and trailered boats. The lake's maximum depth of 56 feet offers good water conditions for various paddling and boating activities. Most standard boat ramps can accommodate 12-18 foot vessels, though capacity may vary.

There are no launch fees at this site unless a vehicle permit is required by the park district. Paddlers should check current conditions and any seasonal restrictions through the Minnesota DNR's Lake Finder tool before visiting. Parking is available for day-use boaters. This is an ideal put-in for exploring the scenic Middle Lake area in south-central Minnesota.
