Miller Dam County Park offers a public boat launch providing access to Chequamegon Waters Flowage, a 2,366-acre lake in Taylor County near Gilman, Wisconsin. The flowage has a maximum depth of 22 feet with relatively low water clarity. This access point is ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore a substantial backcountry water body.

The lake supports panfish, largemouth bass, and northern pike, making it popular with anglers. Beyond paddling, the area offers additional recreational opportunities including shore fishing at public frontage locations and a scenic viewing platform west of the causeway where FR121 crosses the flowage—a good spot for wildlife observation including osprey and waterfowl.
